when attitudes fly
Who started it anyway? Sometimes we are unaware of how attitudes begin to spread. Have you ever been upset and rushed to complete a transaction? Have a child or children cause you to be upset and made you rush to purchase a product and or a service? Have you attempted to correct an error in a customer service department but out of anger walked away? When attitudes fly we sometimes tend to spend, giving in to the influence of wanting to get over a matter. If you can ponder on the times you were upset with someone, a business and or a child(ren); count how often this experience occurs. Ask yourself was the exchange of money reckless, impulsive and if so; did you find yourself being the victim of unwanted spending. We can grab the bull-by-the-horns and not let our emotions cause us to give in to regretful spending along the way.
Another point to consider; have you ever been upset and your anger passed on to another whether at work, school or shopping? Is it possible this anger spread and caused a person to withhold something that just might be to your best interest. Case-in-point, a special at a retailer that is only conveyed by word of mouth is withheld from you because the representative thinks you are upset and therefore speed you through checkout holding back on telling you about the specials available. This can cost you over time; be frugal capture all the savings and discounts available and what your savings grow.
Let me add one more thing to consider; road-rage, have you allowed your anger to cause you to not be focussed resulting in an accident? Though there are no rewind buttons, share the learning experience if applicable. Take a proactive approach to managing anger or attitudes overtime it will prove to save a dollar or two if not more.
